Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

Ten days until "our" baby's due!  Mom is feeling great, and dad-to-be heads for home in a few days.  Think baby'll be early, on time (we hope), or make us wait??

Hi everyone;)

To anyone that lives or knows someone that lives in New York City:

A Navy friend and mom Karen, needs help for her son Erik, a Corpsman, who needs a place to stay from July 1 through August either in Brooklyn NY or near train lines B,Q,N,R,A,C,F,2,3,4,5 in other boroughs that will stop near the school he will need to attend in Brooklyn, NYC College of Technology located on 300 Jay Street.

Erik needs a private room with a bed and a desk (if available) and his budget is 800 a month.

I have sent out invitations to a group on Facebook called "Erik Needs a Room" so that if you have any info you can post on that page or simply send me Minette R Drew a private message here or on Facebook if you have info that will help Erik find a room.

If anyone on my list knows someone in NYC, can you ask around so we can get Erik a room for July and August? I know his mama and she is a really sweet lady and her son is a responsible nice young man ;)

Thanks for anything you can do for Erik. Will send more info privately if you need it.

Maddie grandma to AK,

What I would suggest she do is go talk to management at the complex and explain the situation. They would/should let her extend in order to get the move completed. She should not have to deal with crap like this. Paperwork gets lost all the time. Also there should be something that his command can do in order to help with the situation. Where there is a way there is a will. But she or your grandson should get in touch with the command ASAP and light a fire under them to get the paperwork done correctly.

Maddie, this is a terrific N4M group - PCSing/Moving  Pop over there, join up and describe your grandson and wife's situation and see if you can get some answers/help from the members.
