Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

Would love to add to the showers for this mom. Can send something out whenever it is needed.

Marcy....Thanks that works great for me.  If falls right between the formal dinner I am hosting for the Naval Academy appointee's for the class of 2016 and my daughters wedding.

Never a dull moment at my house.

I have to agree - I would love to include something for the other girls.  If no other ideas, I think I will hit Barnes and Nobles for a couple of gift cards.  My kids always loved a trip to the bookstore.  Looks like there is one in Asheville, which is about 20 miles away.

Marcy - I sent you a message.

Just updated our list, last week to mail to make our baby's July 4th due date is suggested the week of June 18th so Paymaster I tucked your name in there, but of course mail whenever you're ready :)

For what it's worth (probably not much!) my thought is let's just each follow our hearts & add what we like, Pat's already gotten the ball rolling and I think we're doing fine.

For anyone who loves to send care packages to help, and would like to do this again, I have the names and addresses of several corpsmen currently deployed with Marines in Afghanistan who need basics like socks and towels along with snacks from home; PM me and I'll provide info!  :)

I would like to include something for the other little girls as well.  Do you think the ombudsman could "ballpark" their ages??  They could look forward to packages as well!!

No, I'm sorry I don't know.
