Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

Shall we start mailing this week through next weekend?  Someone said there's 20 of us, that would take us into mid-June for mailing.  How about three to start for this week, sign up now?  Something like that?  Not trying to get this all weird and regimented, thinking of FUN for us & happiness for our mom.  Loving all this shopping & wrapping!

@my3sons, he's a keeper for sure!! :)

Lisbeth, please post a pic of Prince Charming! Love it.  I remember cotillion in 6th grade and being taller than most of the boys at that point lol

Thanks Lisbeth!  sorry about your a/c.  We've had a temp dip here in AZ, enjoying it while it lasts!

Hey I was thinking this morning - and don't all get mad at me - since baby's not due till July....

Would it be so awful to let our expectant mama know she's about to be showered with gifts over the next two months, and then everyone sends when they're ready?  Just thinking that she may be having a hard time as due date approaches, and might be a mood boost to have surprise gifts filter in weekly instead of all at once.  We could post as we mail.   Either way I'm fine, but just a thought :)

Nothing happens when I click on the Badge thing (my Mac?) so I made this, if anyone would like to use it - print page one only, then feed that page back in the printer to print on the back side - makes a fold over card :)

it's a NavyforMoms baby girl!

Theresa and Pat...If you look over to the right you will see a dark blue bar that says "Badge".  If you click on it will take you to a page that will allow you to print out a card with Navy for moms on it.  Hope that helps?

I have been shopping for fabric.  This baby will never need another blanket!

I am going to enclose a Molly's Adopt A Sailor card because that is where the Ombudsman sent the message originally.

Also, I have been thinking and I think I should give "M" a call. Don't want her to freak out when the packages start to arrive. Really, there are 20 Moms who have volunteered to participate in the "shower"!!!!

I'm shopping today!  You wouldn't want your child in anything I made! haha!  Whoever came up with this...THANK YOU!  It is a lot of fun planning and buying and knowing that maybe we can make a difference in someon's life!

Mail on May 5 (Saturday), 6, 7?  Or wait closer to due date, for those making things - either way is fine with me.
