Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

Comment by duhhuh58 Ship 10/Div 267 on July 18, 2011 at 7:18pm: wow! i called and talked with sarge on my way home this evening. if he is 1/2 as great in person than he is on the phone i'm in love, lol. when i explained to him what was happening he not only told me how much it would be to take us to the airport he told me to give him a call when we get close to town and he will give me directions on how to get to the apartment, will come over and help my son in law get everthing set up (utilities) and even offered to show us around. told me to make sure my son in law had his phone number and he would help him anyway he could. at this point i recommend anyone needing anything (he's a realtor too) to give sarge a call!

If you're going to Midway, take the train to Ogilvie Station in Chicago and switch to the Orange line (only a few blocks, walk or take a quick cab), the Orange line takes you right to the airport. If you're going to O'Hare, it's the Blue line (same station as the Orange line). My son and I did this - he was going to O'Hare, me to Midway. Cheap, direct, easy.
