Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

If an email looks odd, never open it or click on a link...and if you forward stuff, delete all the old email addresses, and put your friends' addresses in the BCC box - simple steps prevent a lot of headaches down the road :)

Marcy, Did you report it to Admin.? They are very good at getting rid of spammers.

I just received three emails from "Jennifer" advertising a job-search website.  Since it came three times, I'm assuming it's spam and not from an actual person?  In any case, a reminder that the N4M Community Guidelines state

• Don’t Solicit for Products, Services, etc.:
Advertising and promotions are allowed ONLY on your profile page. You may not use Private Messages or Chat to advertise unless members specifically request information. No individuals, groups, or businesses may solicit any project or purpose external to the site within the Forums, Groups, or Blogs.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Products or services you are selling
• Asking for signatures, money, gifts, or donations either for yourself or an external cause
• Work-at-home businesses or opportunities
• Job opportunities or resumes
• Charities and charitable causes or fund-raisers – even Navy-related
• Promoting your own Web site/blog or a Web site or online support group which you represent
• Promoting an entry in a contest

submom

May I post your prayer request on the Prayer Wall http://www.navyformoms.com/group/prayerwall?

Also, I don't know what state Ft. Gordon is in, but in addition to this page, you may want to join that state's page.  In the meantime, I will be praying for Tim, for his medical care team, and for God to uplift the family in this time of need.

Submom - whew....many prayers to your fmaily. I'm not close, but if a card would be of any help, I'd be glad to send one.....just send an address privately.
