Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

Sue,
I can get ahold of my son's recruiter today and ask him to get ahold of their boss who is in Columbus and see what if anything he could recommend. What is wrong with the car, does he know? Besides it being not drivable.

Looking for moms in the San Diego area... We have a sailor headed your way that will be in need for some old fashioned mom love! Long story... if you would have time to visit him while he is in the hospital please send me a private message!

What about his command??? They should be able to give him some support if he is getting the royal runaround!

Also, don't forget that you US Congress person can assist with this also, if moving up the chain does not get you anywhere.

I agree that going up the chain is the way to proceed! Some car dealers are not very good at providing service. Start at the top and call the headquarters ASAP!

Hey all! Lots of new moms here! That is great! HOW THE RESCUE LIST WORKS,,, When a sailor is in need they (or more likely their mom) posts the need on this page... I and a couple of others check the page throughout the day and evening. When a need is identified in an area... we call the moms closest in location to the sailor with the sailors contact info. Then the mom can contact the sailor and offer what help is needed. Your info is not given out.

If you would like to be added to the list... Send me a friend request, then you can send a private message to me. Include your name, location and phone number... there is always room for more willing and able moms and more on the list! Thanks for volunteering!
