Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

I am from SW Indiana. Not too many sailors in my neck of the woods, unless they end up at one of the best keep secrets in the Navy...NSWC Crane.

Hi momof2, I'm sorry to hear that your Sailor is in need of encouragement, I too have a son in P'cola, he's only been there a short time, since 8/7, I will be going to P'cola on the 23 but hopefully someone is close by and can help, if there is anything I can do or my son can do to help please ask. Wishing you the best. Teresa

I am looking for a mom that lives in P'cola that would be willing to go and talk with my son and give him some encouragement. I talked with him last night and he is having some issues and needs someone to talk to. I am unable to get to him at the moment. If you could do this please PM me.

Michdang,
Tell your son to go to the JAG office on base. He should be able to ask any at the Quarterdeack and they can give him the phone number for it and a address.

Forgot to compliment everyone on efforts made on behalf of our sailors. Such dedication! What wonderful moms and dads. We all sleep just a little better knowing there are others who care.

I would suggest adding a topic under Discussion Forum - "How To Put Your Name On Sailor Rescue List" - ask the N4M tech support to leave this discussion as the TOP discussion permanently. Furthermore, on the main heading, how about changing "For those who wish to help those sailors in need when having to travel far from home or base." to "SAILOR RESCUE LIST - A NETWORK OF VOLUNTEERS FOR THOSE SAILORS IN NEED WHEN TRAVELING ACROSS THE COUNTRY. If you can help, please go to the top discussion below How To Put Your Name On Sailor Rescue List and follow instructions. The more the better."
Sincerely yours, Bea.
