Mojave Traffic Hotline 800-231-9899

This is the number to check the weather conditions for Baker grade.
It has been shut down for a few hours or more in recent times due to snow.

Kim good to hear he is having a better trip! He will love the drive across the pass and then up California... Very open country and he will surely see snow as he climbs the Baker grade from Nevada into California. Looking forward to hearing he arrives safetly!

My son was stationed in Lemoore for a bit... It is out in the middle of corn and wheat fields... the guys head into Fresno for time in the 'big city'. Good thing your son has a car. He will have lots of instant friends!

Kim--- how sad that one branch is not supporting another! Here is hoping that he ran into the one bad apple on that base! Prayers are winging their way that he finds the rest of his trip a wonderful adventure! There are people along the way if he wants a friendly place to stop! Let us know!
