SAILOR RESCUE LIST

For those who wish to help those sailors in need when having to travel far from home or base!

Members: 215
Latest Activity: Apr 2, 2019

Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

Hello all!
Indeed we have a list of moms that have volunteered to be a safety net for our sailors! If you would like to join send me privately your name and phone number and where you are located. If we have a sailor in need then we will contact you with their phone number. That way your information is for you to give out as needed.
We started small but are growing! Invite other moms to join. Wouldn't it be great to have a real network for our sailors? We are going to be breaking the list into regions as it grows.
Thanks all!

I watched the trailer the other day! Can't wait until it is released this spring! I am hoping to get some other navy moms together to go to see it!

Thanks Paula... Indeed your name is on the list!

Sweet Angie... Note I have added to my name! I agree it can be so darn confusing with such a common name!

Thanks one and all for volunteering to the rescue list. I will be sending out an email this week to confirm that people on the list want to stay on the list. I have noticed that a couple of folks that have volunteered their help may not be on the list. Or maybe I am not identifying them correctly... Anyway once the we have our 'resources' identified we can work on getting some regional moms into place. Then when a need is identified we can call on the regional mom for backup if needed!

Thanks all for your suggestions... Susan J did have the master list and she is passing that on to me. I will not ever post or offer personal information on the site. The way the 'rescue' is set up to work... We take the sailors contact info and pass it to the Navy mom offering to rescue. The Navy mom will make contact with the sailor. It is great to know that there are regional moms that we could make first contacts for their regions.
