Can anyone advise what airport he may fly out of from GL to go to MA School?

Only your Sailor will know his flight arrangements for certain and even Sailors going to the same "A" School could be on different flights or fly from different airports depending on flight availability. Your Sailor will fly out of either O’Hare International Airport or Midway International Airport. Plan to leave late Saturday or on Sunday. They have not posted how Leave will be handled due to the holiday stand down, but it is possible that he could be on Leave until the 6th. Has your SR let you know anything?
Just maybes from my SR. Maybes don't mix well with flight arrangements. I know how it goes though and he'll know within the week I bet. I was just doing the good ole crystal ball travel arrangements for the family. My hubby and I go up for Christmas, and my SRs Dad and Step Mom and older brother come up the day before grad. We just wanted to have time with him at the airport, just in case and to give him his phone etc. I booked my husband and I a late flight out, so regardless of what transpires, we'll be able to go to the airport whatever his schedule is. :-)
Thanks for the insight :-)
It sounds like you have a good plan in place. I wish you and your family well.
Sarge has a taxi service and he is a wealth of information and has a Meet and Greet at the Sundance Saloon in Waukegan the night before PIR. His cell number is 847-212-0246. His M&G and services have been getting great reviews. Sarge can be found on here as OldSarge.
Thanks lemonelephant :-) I will definately be using Sarge. I believe his rates are the best?
I have heard that he has very reasonable rates and that he and his drivers provide exceptional service to our new Sailors and their families.
That's what my plan is. I got a late flight out so i'll be okay with whatever the itenerary is :-)
Mine didn't leave for MA school until Wednesday! But. . . . he went to Virginia. He is withing days (not weeks anymore) of completing five years and HOME!!!
I live about 5 hours from San Antonio if anyone needs anything!
Things have changed a lot in the years since yours (and mine) joined. The last group to graduate MA "A" School in VA went through in the fall of 2008. I'm glad you will be seeing your Sailor soon.
