I thought it would be nice to get to know the others out there with Family members that are in the same class as my son.  He is scheduled to graduate on Mar 19 and is getting really excited!

My son is in that class. I can't wait to see him!!! I think they are getting orders today.
Yes...Philip tells me that they hope to get them today or tomorrow. He did say they don't have any billets left for PRB's.
Ya I know. Evan was pretty disappointed with that cause he really wanted King's Bay, Ga. Then he decided to take a mobile security position but changed his mind about that which made me happy. Now I'm not sure what he wants but he is in the top 8 of the class so his choices will be pretty good. What does Philip want?
Where is Evan going?
What is PRB? and is Kings Bay Ga. a good station?
My apologies, I should have typed PRP above. My fingers sometimes get faster than my brain. PRP is "Personnel Reliability Program" which is guarding Nukes. However, even though there were a lot of guys qualified for this position in the class there were not any openings for PRP's for this class. If there had been openings the most likely place they would have gone to were Washington State or King's Bay, GA. Since Philip is a southern Boy he would have preferred GA. Not sure others would have agreed if they were not southerners because we are known for pretty hot and humid summers here in the south. LOL.
Hey there! Let me know where he is headed!! How is he doing on CBT's? Hopefully not as stressed as Dylan. Talk to ya soon.
My son is in this class. Will you be attending the Graduation? Can't wait to see what his orders are. Hope they get those orders today!!
I thought about attending graduation but Philip said not to worry about it. He will be coming home right after it and it's just so far to go. Especially since we just spent so much to go all the way to Chicago for his PIR. Just getting to see him in a couple of weeks will be wonderful!!
We aren't going either cause Evan will be coming home right after the pinning. I'm just so glad the CBT's are over!!!
Yes, I can't believe they graduate in two weeks and will be home two weeks from tomorrow!!!! It will be so wonderful to have them home and spend time with our Boys, excuse me, young Men! I'm not sure who is more excited though, Philip or me. He called me last night talking about being home and seeing everyone. He's also very excited about being stationed in Norfolk...guess I'll be planning on going to Virginia Beach a lot this summer! :)
Evan got San Diego so he is pretty happy with that. We will be going there for vacation this year!!!
