Regards to Moms of current, hopeful & in training MWD Handlers; some good reads are: "Dogs of War"(read) "Soldier Dogs"(reading now), "K-9 Heroes"(will read). K-9 Heroes author has a page on FB too.

Finally got a call from, ultra focused, "Chewtoy"! He's enjoying MWD school. Says it's the most important thing, so far, he's done personally & in his NAVY career. He is a happy, but pooped puppy (pun intended)! Hope your Easter weekend was nice!

WARNING: gushing, besotted mom posting.

Morning!

A young lady, I guess in MWD school with Chris, has posted pics &, lucky for us, "tagged" him on FB! I threw a couple of them onto N4Ms Bahrain Moms & a bunch into my page's photo albums. (Still getting the hang of doing that!) That smile of his lit up our house, he just looks soooo happy. Proves he's right where he should be. Made our evening.

SammysMom, unless things have recently changed, your Sailor can call when not in class or on duty from the time they get there.  Be sure to check out the Discussions above.  Click on View All to see all of them.

Hi Shauna,

My son graduated in Chicago last weekend as well. I am checking in too.  Does anyone know when we can expect to hear from them?  I did hear that they would not be able to use their phones for 2 weeks?  He has his computer there but he said he would need to get a connection for it before he could use it.  Congratulations to all of you Sailor Moms out there!  You have reason to be proud.

Congrats, Shauna, to you & your sailor!

Michael James MOM, it could be either of those airports. Only your Sailor will know his specific flight details.
