Praying , hoping, fingers crossed that my sailor can get us a couple of those $35 rooms for next week when he graduates!! They were very nice and we'll be right there already on base...

Sorry, he is stationed out of Portsmouth, Virginia.

it was Gulfport!  Their hotel was right on the beach!  A REALLY nice one.

He likes it sometimes.  He has spent time in Seychelles (where the Prince and his new bride just honeymooned).  He just spent a week in Crete, Greece and enjoyed that also.  He has spent sometime on the oil platforms in the Persian Gulf (inspected Iranians before they boarded the platform) - he kinda liked that.

He just spent about 6 months on a supply boat following the USS Enterprise.  He didn't get off in  ports much - so he is saving some money!!

It has it's good days and it's bad days.  It all depends on their commanding officer!!  That can make them or break them!

He is coming stateside SOON (from Spain)!!  I can't wait!  I won't get to see him - but I will get to hear his voice again!  We talk on yahoo chat, but he won't Skype unless it is a private place - and most internet connections over there are not that great.

Mine is a MSRON - he went to school in Mississippi for 1 month - but he says it was not a C school.

If any of you coming to San Antonio are teacher - the link above gets YOU a free pass in!  It is a GREAT place to visit - and I'm pretty sure your sailor gets in free with military ID.

Hi all my daughter just graduated BC on June 3, 2011.  She started classes today. I am wondering how long it will be before she gets an address so I can send her computer and such to her. She has her phone but did not know anything yet as to what her schedule was or anything for that matter.....  Also she is currently in a room by herself and wondering if that will be the case or will they put somebody from another start date in with her?
