Ooooh  CC0 - I LOVE Charleson, SC!!  I've only been twice - stayed on Isle of Palms once and Folly Beach the second time (Folly Beach is MUCH more affordable!).  My sisters and I go on a "girls-only" trip every year - since our mother passed away eight years ago, and Charleston is definitely on my, "I wanna go again!" list!!   lol

sherrys - from what I understand it's Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) - someone correct me if I'm wrong!

What is PRP?

kelly mcd - my son graduated from SA in Feb and is also a prp @ kings bay.

MAs Mom - thanks for the great info on Kings Bay.  I will be making the trip down at the end of April so that is good info to have for planning excursions.  My other Sailor (they are twins - both MAs) grad in from SA in Feb also and is in Charleston SC, so road trip here I come!! : )

Kelly - you're very welcome!  If you have any other questions, just ask away!  I'll do my best to answer - or find out where to find the answer!  I'm in the Atlanta area, but I have a feeling I'll make a few more trips down ;0)  ha!  I'm always ready to go the the beach!

Thanks jennnyd.  I pray everyday "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done" in my life and the lives of my children.  I know that God has a wonderful plan for my son and "all things will work together for good" for him.

My son qualified for prp and was really wanted to get a prp billet, but he got strep throat and was set back a week.  The group he is now with was told that there would be no open prp billets for them.  He is really disappointed. But, I told him that God is in control and will work things out to be the best scenario for him.  He agrees, but still disappointed.
