You two ARE friends - so it shouldn't be hard to PM. If you need help, I'll stick around.

To check messages - upper right corner of ANY page - it says "Inbox" - just click that

To PM - first you have to be friends.
Then, under your avatar - there is a link to leave message - that is where you go. It does not work unless you are friends first.

To delete a message - click on the small "x" in the top right corner of your message.

you can just put the last name - then when Stephanie gets it she can tell you and you can delete it. Not the best idea - but - hm - . . . .

Do y'all know that the OC spray is so. . . (whatever) that they actually get a certificate for completing it!
Also, military transport? I have heard that it is kinda of sit and wait situation. You just sit and wait and see if you can get on a flight. Then, you may have to go to a half a dozen other places before reaching your destination.
Laptops - can't they go to some places like Starbucks and get on their internet through wireless connections? My Sailor did not purchase a computer until right before this last deployment. When he was in Kuwait (actually on an oil platform in the Persian Gulf) - he made a phone call and said he was using a friends computer. Very bad connection - so I never was clear what he meant.

Janice: YES i had to address it just like at BC SR last name, first name and so on and so forth! Matt is in a holding unit but they said the mail would find him either way! I am not sending the laptop due to the fact it is expensive and crappy service! Instead I am adding web service to our cell phone plan and he can get on that way!

Tess: monkey is doing great!! LOL He doesn't quiet understand why daddy isn't around again, but he'll understand once he's older! I just keep telling him daddy is at work and he is fine with that :) We will be back together before ya know it! And I have to keep telling myself how blessed we are that his school is only 8 weeks long, it could be much worse!!

The OC spray causes an intense burning feeling and even after removing it, the sailor may appear to have a sunburn, which is actually the chemical burn from the Oleoresin Capsicum. As I've said before, it is important to watch and not get cross contamination by touching things to the sprayed area of the face (cell phone, in my sailor's case) and then touching them later and transferring the OC spray.

I updated the break down above to indicated that OC Spray is Oleoresin Capsicum. It's a really strong “pepper spray” and the oil is best removed by a soap product. There are usually plenty of sailors with baby shampoo and they share. They are also given the info by the instructors to have milk on hand. Yes, OC spray is USUALLY on Friday. The sailors are so excited to make it through that. You can find some actual videos of past sailors going through OC spray at SA on YouTube.

I am chatting with my Sailor on Skype right now. It is not quite 7 tomorrow morning for him. If your sailor has access to internet (especially those with children) - look into Skype. It is FREE and if you have a webcam - it is live!!
