OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Tabitha, flying or driving? If you drive, I am on your way - but only about 5 hours from your destination. I know you would be anxious to get there - but I would love to meet somewhere - (even McDonald's for the "monkey" to expend some energy). If you are flying, check into flying into Houston. It is about three hours from San Antonio - and I could pick you up and take you to San Antonio. I have lots of friends in Kerrville that are begging me to come see them. That is - if you won't need a rental car in San Antonio.
