My son is stationed in San Antonio, with the new Corpsman training center....just wanted to say if any one wants to come for Christmas Dinner/supper from San Antonio, we will always make room. It'll be loosey goosey, I work a few hours on Christmas Eve and a few more on Christmas Day, I'm trusting a sailor to get dinner into the oven and his big sister to come get it on the table, but it'll be fun and lots of it!! Sports on TV, ex Army Ranger SIL and my sailor, plus whoever he brings along. We're about an hour from Fort Sam in SA. Merry Christmas, ya'll!

Good Morning Moms/spouses! I am wondering about this next step for my hubby...he graduates from Basic Dec 30th and will report to school on Jan 6th and check in Jan 7th! DOes anyone know when the classes usually start up? Like, is it Monday-Friday or does it cater to the new sailors and when the classes fill up? Just trying to get an idea of what to expect...LOL

I love this website - because I truly feel this is the only place where people really do "understand".

Stephanie!! What a great attitude to have!! I have had to make myself think positive this year because mine won't be with me (for the third year) on Christmas Day. I just think about all the mother's who will never have another Christmas with their children on this earth - and then I quit whining!

Thanks!! Only 34% of the ones that tried made it - so I am proud.

For E6 - only 0.98% made it! Over 1300 took the test and only 13 made it.
