Stephen pulled weeds for 2 weeks before his class started. All will go well.

Ladies look at the top blog in the Discussion Forum and will give you a week by week breakdown. God bless all our sailors.

There is also a limit as to the number of miles away from base they can go on liberty.

Stephanie, if I have this right, sailors can't leave base until they Phase up to Phase II, which is earned, and they have to be on Phase I for 3 weeks first. Phase I starts right after BC, so even if an A School class has not formed, the sailor may be in Phase I and may Phase up before someone else in the same A School class depending on how testing and inspections go. On Phase II, they can leave base in uniform with a buddy, but they must return to base each evening. It's not until Phase III that your sailor can leave base all weekend on Liberty if he does not have guard duty--Phase III comes around Block 5 for many. There are also rules about not riding in a civilian vehicle, but if your sailor is on Phase II, you may be able to sign him out for the day and be allowed to transport him in your vehicle. Hope this helps.

Stephanie: I believe they have to pass OC spray first before they can have liberty. OC spray is usually the 3rd week. There is a list of week by week at the top in the discussion forum. It will help. Keep the faith

Louis Maxwell is a true hero. He fought off the enemy for one hour guarding the UN before he was overcome.. Let us all pray for all our sailors and soldiers.

Ladies: a young south Florida sailor who was an MAA was killed in Afghanistan at the UN guest house bombing 2 days ago. Our prayers go out to his family. May the Lord bless them and welcome Maxwell into his arms. Keep the faith. They were just on the news here.

I'm sorry to hear that MA did not work out for Kayla, I hope that she will find a rate that is a better fit for her. Blessings to you and Kayla.

I don't know what to tell you. Have Kayla talk with some of her class sailors, ask her class leader, ask her division commander. Try the refuge, it is a place for sailors and airmen on the base for getting help. Stephen volunteers there and says it is a wonderful place. Keep the faith

I'll rent a car, and thanks for the info. I'll check out hotels by Seaworld. Keep the faith
