OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Christina my son is also set to graduate on 3/28. Are you attending graduation? Do you know if many parents or family/loved ones attend?

Thank you.

Thank you so much.  I will share that with him.

He said there's a 98.5% graduation rate there and you just have to ask for help when you need it.

Kay, my son is set to graduate 3/28 and this is what he said to your question.

"You get bumped back each one, but if you fail 3 then you go undesignated"

Good Morning.  Has anyone's sons/daughters shared anything about the tests they have to take?  Are they difficult?  My son is just beginning and has not started classes yet but they were told if they do not pass 3 times they are out and they become undesignated.

It was last week that he got the rest of his orders. So I would say two weeks after the spraying.

Christina, how long after OC spray did it take till your son got his orders? All we know right now is Japan. We don't have any other details.

Calitwinsmom, since the Air Force graduation is also on Friday at Lackland, there are some deals for hotels in the area; you just have to ask when making reservations if there are any discounts--ask about discounts after receiving the rate for the room because we have found "discounted" rates that were the same as or higher than the quoted rates at times. Check Graduation Info for Lackland AFB - Navy MA graduation; Places to st....

Christina, yes, if he is cleared to leave at that time, he will be able to do that. He (or you) makes the arrangements for the flight for Leave.
