Hello everyone! My Husband just graduated Bootcamp on 1/11/13. He is now at at San Antonio for A School. He is going to be an MA. But he is on hold for about 2 weeks. He doesn't get to start right away... I was so informed about my Husbands bootcamp because if this website.. I am now hoping to become really informed about A School as well! So if someone could please direct me to any groups or sites I can visit so I can get the most information that I can that would be wonderful!
You are very welcome. Oh, and yes, he can have photos.
Thank YOU!!! I again apprteciate your support!!!!
snowmanmom, the bedding is taken care of and he will have his own towel etc. in his Sea bag. He can have a few personal items, but with the "A" School being so short, and storage space limited, keep what you send him to things that will be consumed and the things mentioned in Break down week by week. Anything you send he will have to carry away after BC.
Do they bring all the linens they had at bootcamp or do they need to get things, if so what do they need? I know least is best. I am just amazed at how much i have already spent on stamps and phone cards. Can they have pictures or any personal items or not.
HeatherT, the discussion, Graduation Info for Lackland AFB - Navy MA graduation; Places to s..., has some info. I drove down when I went last summer, so I cant help with taxi info. Do go the night before and get the paperwork for you to be on base and it will save you time in the morning. You need your photo ID for that and your Sailor will have to meet you at the gate.
LoriK I sent a friend request to you, I am so glad your son was able to start Aschool right away. I had a couple questions to ask you.
snowmanmom, the billets presented will all depend on the needs of the Navy at the time.
Where are most of the Sailors going once they graduate A school? I have seen alot that are going to Baharan and Japan?
