Sierrasmom, I'll send you a private message with his name. His first name is Trent. I'm hoping his dorm mate is a good influence on him since he's 28, a cop in his state, married with two kids. We will see! I think this school seems fun after coming out of boot camp.

Becky, That's Great!  I told Sierra we were talking online.  Your son will know who my daughter is because she is the yoeman.  She asked me his last name but I told her we couldn't share last names on here. She seems to be adjusting well too.

Sierrasmom, sounds like my son started class too. He said they were have bystanders class this week. He just text me asking me to send him his civilian clothes and running shoes. It sounds like he's enjoying it so far.

I'll have to text him later tonight as we are just leaving Chicago after an extended stay since BC last Friday.

Becky, My daughter said that they started a class yesterday and there are about 42 in the class.  He may have started with her group yesterday.

Sierras mom, I wonder if my son started with your daughters group? He arrived Saturday evening from bc. He was told he would start on Nov 7th.

SailorB, Thanks for the updates!  My daughters new group finally started today.  They had 10 and 25 more people showed up this weekend.  I'm glad her class is starting but I think it was good for her to have a week "off" after bc.

My son has been there since 10-13. He seems to enjoying the camaraderie. I enjoying seeing his pic on fb of him and his shipmates. They are quite busy thru the week but alot less stressful that bc on weekends. He has been studying though the last few days for a test. Glad to see that. Congrats to all the new MA's on their way.
