Looking for places to stay  for graduation on 9/21. The info at the top was posted 2011.  Is it still true for 2012?

Chris got booted home quickly from MA school. Course he was headed overseas to the sand. He, too, did not enjoy OC!

Hi all.  My son graduates MA school on 8/31.  I won't be able to make it, so I'm hoping he will have someone take some pics.  He loved San Antonio.  The only part he didn't enjoy at school was the OC Spray, of course.  He will be coming home after graduation, but we are not sure when.  I guess it depends when he actually gets his orders.  He is to be stationed with a squadron at PAX River, MD.  Another guy going to MD didn't receive his orders until the Monday after graduation.  I don't know if this will happen with us.  I was really counting on seeing him by either Friday night or Saturday.  Does anyone know if they normally hold them in SA?

Lemonelephant, I personally didn't think it was snippy, I like to know exactly whats what...no MAA for me....MA is correct <3 thank you for your wealth of knowledge.  I am sure our sailors will make all of us, including the USN proud<3

Hi all! This question may be unanswerable but I thought I'd ask anyways. I'm supposed to fly out tomorrow morning for my Sailors graduation from A school. As of yesterday though she had no information on if it was even happening this week. How likely is it for the pinning to occur if they haven't heard any info this late in the week? I am able to fly standby so I don't have to worry about losing my ticket.

I understand your excitement.  Perhaps I need to go to bed because I didn't mean to be snippy, but I came off that way.  Have a wonderful night and enjoy the next phase of this journey with your new Sailor on the way to being an MA.

Lemonelephant - I wasn't implying that they wouldn't conduct themselves appropriately, I was just voicing my excitement for my own and my friends Sailors that are heading that way. Thank you for correcting my improper identification.  E-3, MA Got it.
