My daughter had food poisoning also. My daughter also had to take IV fluids. She is much better now. I think there were quite a few with food poisoning. Apparently, everyone who had it was interviewed to try to find out what was eaten that caused it. I'm glad to know they are on top of it. I'll feel better when the OC spray is behind them though.
another question what do we address our sailors as, now that they are out of boot camp ... I don't want to ask my daughter because I will definately get the : MMOOOMM ..... like I should know this already voice .... LOL
HI everybody, have not been on hear in a couple of days, had a lot going on at home.... I do recognize a few names from the other forum, glad to see some familiar names and some new ones....
I have a question did anyone else get calls from their sailor saying that they had food poisoning... my daughter had it and in bed for 3 days and had to recieve fluids... she said they shut the galley down and recalled food, she said that Navy and Air Force were sick from it....
update on this is that she is better and enjoying things.... she she is so excited about everything and looking forward to do it all ... she said she does OC spray next week sometime and she even sounded excited about that .... that girl of mine is just crazy :) .....
Yes, PaulaP, since 2008 the A School for MA is only at Lackland AFB in San Antonio. Yes, they do have Liberty in the evenings and on weekends when they do not have class and if they are not on duty. It is better to wait until your Sailor phases up to at least Phase II because he will have more freedom then.
Is MA School always in San Antonio?? (Please say yes) and if so, do they get liberty on the weekends? (Please say yes)
Phyllis S, welcome. You will find we are a pretty friendly bunch here and also in the MAA Moms group. To you and others, please let me know if there is anything I need to update in the Break down week by week. I change it as I become aware of inaccuracies or if something needs clarifed or has changed since it was last updated. (Post within that discussion to let me know.)
My son will be going through PIR on Friday and will leave for A School in San Antonio for MA on Saturday. I look forward to talking to all of you during the next several weeks. Thanks for the week by week breakdown that was posted. Until I read that I really didn't know what my son would be going through.
My MA daughter officially started A School training today. She arrived there on April 14, but was in administrative classes all last week. She was so excited to start training today.
