For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I am having a hard time finding Navy die cuts. Not much in the stores. Anyone ever bought stuff off ebay for scrapbooking? I see a couple of things on there that look pretty nice.
Yes, I had a really good time today. I got a few pages done. I will try to take some pictures and post them this week. I am an accountant which means I lack creativity, but I do try to be creative with my scrapbooking LOL I am trying to journal, too. I was going to try to do this like momoftwosons and scrapbook postcards from all his destinations over his career.
Momoftwosons that is awesome, I can't wait to see the pics. Post it on my facebook page too please. I am so excited.

I recently started my sons Navy scrapbook and will post pics of them shortly. I started out with MEPs and then his PIR and did his assigned ship - loved the way the game out and I will continue with pics of his deployment and all the ports he will be visiting.
Going to start my son's Navy scrapbook today while watching the Superbowl with my best scrapbooking buddy. Sounds like the perfect day!
Anyone who lives in NC, the Brevard, Hendersonville, or Asheville area who likes to scrapbook we are having a FREE 2 day crop at a local school on Saturday and Sunday (21st & 22nd) Just bring your pics and paper, you can share our tools and Cricut machines and cartridges.
