I do hope someone takes a pic or video of our DIV performing 02 04 and 02 11. Ours is the little guy playing the symbols! He was really sick a few weeks ago and  he 'accidently' fell asleep on a small bench. Now they have him BEAT, running, bear crawling, pushups etc, etc around the compartments :-( on the weekends.  Its brutal but says he will be really buff !!

Darnell,

Our division will perform in the 2/04 and 2/11 graduations as well as their own. We'll definitely have to check the website to see the pictures! My son originally said the flag holders are picked by height so it looks uniform, and since he's third tallest he'd be a door opener or something. But this week he said someone was sick and he got to learn the flag routine, so I don't know what he'll be doing!  Less than 3 weeks...!

Hi Girls,

I did get my scarf and had it momogramed with 913. I got a winter one because I live in Minnesota. Im hoping when I wear it, people will ask me about the 913 and I will get a chance to talk about Bailey. I think it beautiful.

Not sure if anyone else was told anything, but Bailey said she was going to have her first preformance on the 2/04/11. Does that mean, that that graduating class maybe doesnt have a preformance div? I dont know. On the facebook page US NAVY RECRUIT TRAINING CAMMAND they have pictures from graduations so many we will get to see our kids on some.

Well ladies have a great day, I'll check in later.

Ok girls, head on over to the "Wear a Pink Scarf" for graduation discussion on PIR 2/18/11 page and post if you haven't yet & are participating.  There are a little over 25 who have responded, and no division has more than 4 yet. (Let's go Div 913!) I love the idea of monogramming "913" on one end and our family name on the other! Thanks Blessedw2!  I asked my younger daughter if she wanted one too and she said, "Yes! So I can participate even though I'm not a mom!"  Love that team spirit, and I can't wait to meet you all!  Off to the mall I go!

Hi, Beth....good advice on the car maintenance!  I have been slowly getting things done over the past several weeks; i.e. timing belt changed, brakes done, differential changed (whatever that is!?).   We decided to start doing this several weeks ago so we could spread out the cost -- holy cow it's expensive!  I'm lucky, though, if the car breaks down, this is where my family is from originally, so I still have cousins living all around up there (even though I haven't been up for at least 30 years!)  I did read on the navy website that the visitor gate opens at 6:30 am!  I guess if they don't get to sleep, neither do we! :)

Blessedw2 -- I'm digging out my long underwear, too!  Jeans are actually not the best cold weather pants, so def. wear something under them if you can!  :)

Thanks Beth...now we know what we will be doing on Valentines Day...PRAYING!

I got a card today from my son, he got at the store they go to every 2 weeks.  He sounded really upbeat and said he had lost a lot of weight and we won't recognize him.  Seemed proud of that.  Doing night watch a lot, says they fill in for each other when one is sick or has dental work done.  I think that shows a great time spirit for 913!  I am more excited now it that is possible.  He is counting down the days too...  I love my SR!!!  Just had to share.  Thanks friends for being there.

Sorry, Beth that was for you.  I get so confused on this thing!

And, Kellroy thanks for the heads up on dressing warm.  Sounds like a good idea for the jeans since it's such a long walk.  I look forward to meeting you at PIR!
