I missed the first call, fortunately he called back! I asked about each of your SR's, and he knew all of them! Andria- how fitting that your daughter is a leader there :-) Now I have to look up Yeoman to learn what that means! I heard all positives "Mom, you just don't know how close you get with all these recruits" Thanks Bsmom for the link on what's to come. Time will fly now! I wish you all the best as we lift our RS's in there final challenges.

Sounded like they are doing so incredible that they are competing with past and present divisions for the best scores.   Incredible!!

I just recieved a call also!!  Was told that they have won 4 flags....military drill, athletic, scholastic, and zone (which I was informed was inspections).  They are also in the running for the HALL OF FAME!!!

Oh I am in tears right now, but happy tears!!!!!!!!! Just got a call from our son.  What a surprise when I answered the phone. So great to hear his voice. He sounded great but a little teary talking to us. I thought something was wrong but he was emotional hearing our voices. He said his division is doing great. Down to 70 recruits. They got all the flags they need. Next week will be a tough one. Fire training and the gas chamber. bsmom, Our son is not your son's bunkmate. Your son has  another recruit from New Jersey. He did mention all male last names of our  group's children.. They don't get to speak to the wome recruits.  He told us about all the inspections they have done as well as what's coming up this week. I am a very happy mom right now. He was going to call his wife next.

Hope you all get a call.

Great article telling of BS and Marlin Pike

My understanding is the Marlin Spike is a mock Battlestation.

I am so happy for all of them!!     Andria, Thanks for clearing up what I couldn't understand in my son's last letter. His handwriting is very messy. The word I could not read was Marlin Spike.Glad they did well on it. Does anyone know what they have to do for Marlin Spike?
