I only live 3 hours away from our recruits and my letters from 1/1-1/17 just came today.  They must be only able to bulk mail them out on certain days...Sundays, because it is feast or famine here!!  Only the second time to receive them and 4 the first time and four this time!

Recieved 4 letters today!  Downhill from here.  They are now able to listen to music  and he was very excited about it!  He has got more promotions...very confusing to me, but petty officer something, and is now section leader??  Says he is unlike the other section leaders.  He said they yell at their recruits and cuss, but he is more understanding and tries to teach them what they did wrong and correct it.  He said they get yelled at enough by everyone else.  He feels this is the reason his section is the section that is doing the best.

He was actually excited because an RDC called him his last name and it was the first time in a long time that he's been referred to by his name.   He also mentioned seeing some new recruits come in and felt sorry for them...

I guess he also got to see a PIR in progress and was envious of the people graduating because their family was there.

I hope everyone else gets letters!!!!  Happy Night!
