It's 11:00 at night and I so wish I was reading the book to my son... I know he is probably tucked safely into his rack and sleeping. I have read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to him since he was born, and this is the first year in 21 that I will not read it. It was the same book my Godmother game me the year I was born in 1957! Today I waited for the mail-lady and got not form letter. I'm so irritated, but know there is nothing to be done. I wanted that dang letter. Is it in a regular sized envelope or in a large 8x10 envelope? I am glad for those who got there letters, Merry Christmas! I will get mine on Monday I am sure. I will be praying for a phone call, but I know that is very much not happening! I pray some of you get a phone call. Wish best wishes!
I'm a new Navy mom. My son was not happy about leaving before Christmas (his original ship out date was Dec 28). It also happens to be my birthday the 24th, and while I don't make a big deal of it, he wanted to be home for it. This website is great support- although I'm not really fluent in blogs, discussions, threads, what have you...
Does anyone know if they receive mail every day? once a week? I know that right now they can only write on Sunday, but what about incoming mail?
