Andria,

When my husband and I looked at the pic the first words out of my mouth were: That looks like Andria's daughter. I saw her pic on your NavyforMoms page.

Sure looked like her.

So true Lisa, I look forward to getting online and checking out the website to see whats happening with our kids. I have learned so much from all  of you ladies and I would have been a wreck if I had not found this site... Almost there !!!

I have to say, I have thought about all the moms who did NOT find this website. We are the minority. There are SO many more moms out there who went through this by themselves. I can't imagine doing that. Husbands don't understand. Even friends don't understand. A recruits mom or wife has a special perspective on this whole experience. It has been quite a journey. We aren't quite finished, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel ladies, and I am so glad we were on the same train! THANK YOU!!

Andria- you always seem to put a smile on my face after reading your posts.  Thank You!!!  My husband, friends, and son advised me to stay off this site originally.  It seemed every time I got on, I would cry even more.  As time has gone on, I look forward to seeing if anyone has heard from their recruit and any news from GL.  Love getting on here and will stay connected with everyone.

9 days girls!!!

Congrats bsmom on tour weight loss. Your son will be so proud of you!

The phone rang around 9:30 P.M. The caller ID came up Omaha, Nebraska . It was my son!!!!!!! Got a call tonight. He passed his final PFA. He was very excited. They are getting their minds set for Battle Stations!! Let's say a prayer for them ladies. Battle Stations three days away. They will get our letters soon.

I can't wait to board the plane in NJ on Thurs noon. Just want to hear the words "I am a sailor."
