My sister go a letter from my son yesterday, she read it to me was really nice. He said they were busy all week with a lot of inspections but they are still on track for Honor Roll and they did have BS practice and unfortunately he got sick this past week, but is doing better.

Thanks Maketel1 for posting more info.  We are trying to get you used to a new way of doing things, SPEC OPS.  You will see other people posting lots of info on their recruits but with Spec Ops you will need to be even more careful and vigilant on the security.  We will help you all of the way and feel free to ask us any questions you have either here on in a pm.

In my last letter, he said that they are crazy busy right now... he was writing me in between doing other things.  Don't worry too much, he too said they are doing really well and working great together as a team!

Here's to hoping everyone gets a letter this week... :)

This is a wonderful idea.  Syler - I would love to have some names.

Skyler, I was pretty dissapointed myself today as well. I haven't heard from my son in almost 2 weeks. Neither has his girlfriend so I am guessing they are pretty busy! I hope that's the reason! ha ha!! I was really bummed about it the other day but have gotten better. Lets keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow. If they wrote on Thursday, perhaps it wasn't sent out until Friday and hopefully we will get a letter by tomorrow. I hope....fingers crossed!

@SwimmerS, I am the same way. Definately will need the guidance. Still not 100% on how to get around this site!!   I vote for signing "Moms of 806" as well as perhaps our names?? I know my son would be proud to know his mom is routing for all of his buddies!!!

@Ochaos! I would really appreciate your help when the time comes!

Thank you ochaos... I definitely need guidance. I don't even know enough to know what questions to ask.

After your PIR those of us that have been before you will assist you in setting up your private class group.  I posted the guidelines above so that you could become familiar with them. Let me know if you have any questions, just send me a pm and I will answer your questions.  After PIR you will need to remove the ship/div# from your screen names.

SwimmerS - the answer is no.  This is considered a public forum and if you google your screen name you will see comments that you have made and anyone can see them even if they are not a member of the group. The guys only use the division # during BC.  Once in Pre-BUD/s the seal guys will be assigned a class # and that group will be private.

I know that this can be very confusing, do not stress there are those that will guide you through.
