Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Linda - does your last name have a Y in it somewhere? If so, I think our boys were calling home at the same time. My son is also cleaning and is liking it. The other name of a married guy was either Colby or Cory. didn't quite understand. The next call for him will probably be in about 2 weeks he said. His letter were about 5-6 days from mailing date.

Finally got the call.He sounded good but has a cold. Likes his job and most of the people around him. About 95 in the group and he has only talked with a few that are married anda couple kinda sound a little from the south. Would that be any of your husbands? He couldn't remember names He said that some of the wives are on this site. well anyway...hoping linda gets a call soon.

26 days.. that's still too long. but I GUESS I can smile that's is more than half way over! :-D I miss him so so so so freaking much.. And btw. I've gotta buy a GPS, Tom Tom or Garmin ? Everyone on FB saying Garmin. i need help, bc my sense of direction WILL NOT GET ME TO PIR :( lol

You are not the only one with no call. Mine hasn't called yet which leads me to believe he either got in trouble or he is letting others use his time. Can't help you with the computer issue. I'm hoping that our sons will call soon. I will be upset if I find out he has called anyone else though. Has no girlfriend so it should either be his dad or I that gets the call I hope.

My son is 19 so he is probably one that is contributing to the beat downs. Glad everyone is doing good. He also said that everyone is meshing and working together.
