FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

After we got off the phone yesterday I cried hysterically for about 10 minutes then got my act together and was all smiles! I guess they were happy tears! Do you know what you are wearing to graduation yet? I am going shopping this weekend to try and find a sexy sundress!

Ohh emm gg !!! Talking about cloud nine hunny.. shew, I feel like a million bucks after that phone call.. I told my husband all about you and Anna, and Heather (HeatRod) and he was happy that I was getting to know yall.. I told him I thought your mans name was Alex, but wasn't sure.. they only know last names anyways though.. And yes, I better get to meet you and your lil beauty at PIR !!! And it would be awesome if us four could travel together if all the guys can stick together throughout this without any rollbacks.. omg, this feeling is almost unreal.. I la la la la LOVE it! Where are you staying at for PIR ? Anna got a call too, her computer is messed up, so we text each other and facebook all day. speaking of, I'll send you my number in a message if you ever want ( or need ) to talk.. But I do think this call can last me another 30 days.. WOO FREAKING WHOOOO!!!!

Yes, I (finally) found what I'm wearing to PIR.. I'm ordering it off of Victoria Secrets website.. Since they are going to be in their dress whites, I tried to find something that would match him, but not clash either. It's a navy blue dress, with a white tie around the waist.. not sure about shoes, probably just some sandals.. and I'm making my daughter a pillowcase dress that is gonna match us. I'm going to try and find some sailor anchor material in white and blue, and use blue and white ribbons.. ( if you don't know what a pillow case dress is, google it.. SUPER CUTE!! ) I'm so flipping excited!! I don't even want to imagine what I'm going to be like the night before we leave.. EEEKKKK!!! I can't wait! I'm so ready for more letters and calls, and omg, just the thought of hugging him and kissing him, drives me mad!!! :-D
