Hello.  My son is also on ship04 division 812.  I am hoping to get a letter today.  Usually they come on Thursday.  I am so glad to hear they are doing so well as a division.

We received letters yesterday and thanks to his sweet girlfriend sending him a card, I received a Mother's Day card. Yes I cried like a baby. His letters are very exciting. They had pictures taken on April 28th, wonder when we can get to see them? How exciting for the guys to be doing so well. God bless them all.

Well, gals, looks like the Meet & Greet might be at the Ramada Inn Thursday night. It's generally from 6 - 8pm. Complimentary free hot hor d'oeuvres and beverages. I'll keep you posted. Or, please let me know if you find anything out.

Just had a quick 5 min call from my son. YEAH!!! He said everyone is still sick and a lot can barely talk but things are really good. They got to call to make sure parents had PIR info and parking pass password. See everyone in two weeks.

Sorry--Navy Exchange--tax-free shopping for the Recruits/Sailors and families. It's a store with miscellaneous items/food. They also have some fairly nice t-shirts ("Navy Mom," "Navy Sister," "Navy Dad," etc.). This one is about the size of a drug store, I'd say. Next to the NEX is sort of a mini-foodcourt and a lounge-type area, I think. Not much with which to kill 4 hours, but I bet it would be next to impossible to leave the base and return. I could be wrong; maybe we could ask at our own recruiting offices?
