How's everyone doing?
Juston is probably going to be done with school June 27. He's going to be in Washington (state). Yeah!

- About me:
- Mom of seven--husband and I were both widowed. When we married all 7 were 8 years old and under. Now they are ages 15 to 23. I am a MonaVie distributor, and I decorate all sorts of cakes--birthdays, weddings, etc.--when friends and acquaintances request.

- When I heard “Navy,” I:
- Was relieved
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- Writing letters are uber-important!!!!
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- This was a maturing experience, This was the best decision he/she could have made

- Hey girl...thanks for checking on me...doing so so...had knee surgery August 12 almost back together from that....still more testing on back. Wanting to do surgery...I'm still not sure...if I only knew for sure it would work... yep our boys are still together...getting mighty cold for my GA boy..LOL I'll be sure to let him know to hitchhike with Juston...thats mighty nice of you to offer. Having Walter close enough to go pick up most weekends (5 to 6 hrs) delayed my grieving along with everyone else. They couldn't have put him any further from home and still be on friendly soil....hard realizing that WA is now his life not GA...and here I am in GA....Lighter lighter lighter note...my daughter is due to deliver my 1st grandbaby around the 10th of this month...alittle boy...can't wait to get my hands on that little booger...LOL Hope all is well with you and yours...headed to therapy on my knee...hope to talk to you soon. The drugs they've had me on have been putting me to bed mighty early...weening off of those so I hope to be back on here more often...I sure have missed everybody.

- Hi. I am in Livermore. My son, Alex, left for Boot Camp on Tuesday, 9/7. We got the call from him last night that he arrived safely.

- Hey there my friend.Hope this finds you doing well. Things are still crazy for me since the car accident in January. Such is life I guess. I wanted to take a minute to touch base and let ya know that i saw that beautiful sailor of yours a week ago when I returned Walter to base.I told him to be sure and let ya know i asked about ya.Getting packed to head back to Pensacola tomorrow for a few days. Meeting up with Debra from OK. Her daughter is still there. SO is your sailor headed up to Washington St.? Can't remember if Walter told me yes or no on that....my mind is a terrible thing....take care and God Bless. If I see your sailor I'll give him a big ol hug from you! Denise

Barbara 'Cookie" A said… - Hi I just checked my Navy 4 Moms and got your note. I live in Danville and have met another mom from Tracy. My son is a nuke on a sub out of Hawaii. I'm a proud mom of 5 with 7 grandkids. I grew up in the Air Force but my husband was never in the service. Keep in touch.

- Elaine, I thought it was wonderful to meet all of you too!!! I met all but Jodi of our little group. Wish we'd have been able to get together again during the trip...where did the time go anyway???? Looks like you and Kathy got a chance at some quality time...thats great. Hope we do not lose touch now that our boys are moving on in this journey called the Navy.....
