Hello.  My son is also on ship04 division 812.  I am hoping to get a letter today.  Usually they come on Thursday.  I am so glad to hear they are doing so well as a division.

I missed my call today :-( but he did leave a voicemail. I have been glued to my phone all week and the one day that I get busy at work and forget to take my phone when I leave my desk he calls. He sounded well, a little disappointed that I didn't answer, but well. He said he knew I was busy because I didn't answer, that things were getting better, and they were going to graduate on time. I was already crying because I missed the call and then he said, "Happy Mother's Day." My coworkers started laughing because I really started balling. I didn't care, my baby called. We only have three more weeks ladies. I'm soooo happy we got our calls.

Hi everyone we also got a phone call, unfortunately I was in church at my godson's communion so I couldn't pick upmy cell, but he did call my husband and spoke to him and my youngest son. I feel bad I didn't get to talk to him, but I am so glad they are doing so well.

Actually, Mikey's Mom, the same thing happened to us the last time Jared tried to call us! I didn't even think about trying to call the pay phone back. Your hubby's smart! We heard the same thing from our son today about going across the street to check in for prebuds. We should be able to say a quick hi and get a quick hug down on the floor after the ceremony (it's bleacher seating), but then they'll leave for 4 hours or so. We can go to the NEX and shop for awhile. Also, there's some small restaurants (fast food, if I remember correctly) right there where we can have lunch while we wait. After 4ish hours, we can have our sons all to ourselves until the evening and then again--supposedly--until Sunday evening 10ish. It might vary depending on each sailor's watch duty.
Where are you all staying? We will be at the hotel we stayed at last time--Hilton Garden Inn Lake Forest Mettawa. It's a little drive to GL, but it was a lovely hotel with a great breakfast! :)
And heads up--the line of cars to get on base Friday morning is long; try to get there early. It takes them a long time to get each car "inspected." That's an interesting process. Be sure not to use your cameras until you're in the actual building.
I'll pass on more tips, if I think of anymore....

BHMimi, don't feel bad. Last time they called he got everyone's voice mail. My phone was right beside me and I didnt hear it. Luckily my husband called back the number a few times and he finally answered. He said we would not see him after graduation for about four hours so they can move across the street for prebuds conditioning.

Hi guys...got a call today too. Woohoo!!! They also earned 10 hrs of sleep, my son took 8 and said it was the best he's felt the whole time. He's sick again too, but happy they are all working together and doing well as a div. The SEAL rcts are moving across right after PIR (at least at the moment, that's the plan) then have liberty through the rest of the WE like the others, with curfews. UNLESS they surprise them with overnight liberty.
Funny how he wanted to talk to his lil sibs....SOO sure he would NOT MISS all the little people around here! Yeah, boot camp is definitely a good thing! ;-)

Thanks Dennise and Elaine :) I'm just praying that his orders will say otherwise once he gets them. If not I'll just have to make a trip to Florida! I can already tell the Navy will be one crazy adventure!

I got a call this morning! YAY! They are really doing better now working together! Troy says that the RDC's read these, haha! Got some bad news today though, after graduation they are sending him on a plane straight down to florida! :( It really sucks because we were hoping he'd have some time off so we could finally get married!
