Hello.  My son is also on ship04 division 812.  I am hoping to get a letter today.  Usually they come on Thursday.  I am so glad to hear they are doing so well as a division.

BTW--I posted a forum question to see if anyone is already working on a Meet and Greet for our May 21 grads. I'll keep you posted.

Another question: should we "jump ship," so to speak, on this group page and all get together on kimberlyr's group formed for the same division? Looks like we need to join forces. Not sure what kind of overlap there is. Any thoughts? Whatcha' think?

Yeah!!! I love Wednesday's letter time. He is doing great. Apparently, the gas chamber test is coming up this week he thinks. Our guys are almost there, so proud of them.
Elaine, we would be interested in a M&G. We purchased our tickets also.

Glad some of you have heard from your recruits. Hoping for a letter tomorrow. Do any of you have your tickets to Chicago yet? I finally purchased ours last night. Seems risky, since something could happen and our son would graduate later. But I decided to bite the bullet. Next decision: do we want to start a "Meet and Greet" event for those attending the May 21 graduation? We went to the M&G when our other son graduated. The place it was at was so-so. What do you all think? Any suggestions? FYI--it would obviously be Thursday evening, May 20, for dinner and/or dessert....

He is doing well, he says they get PT'd a bunch and that they are under constant scrutiny b/c they are the 800 div. He finally got to make a phone call about a week or two ago, that really boost his morale! I get letters on Thursdays too! Its the best part of my week!
