Hey Ellen - what does it mean that they volunteered for Ship Duty? They still go to A School first, right?

That is so Awesome! Does this make us Sister-Moms? I hope so! My kid doesn't know I'm coming to PIR yet either, I'm going to tell him on the phone call home. So, it will be really fun for all of us to meet. My heart is so light and happy now!

Gina-2 letters today...our guys got together/friends.(said,"he's a really cool dude") They know we communicate with each other daily and that's awesome. Same situation with the yelling, but adjusting. Didn't say anything about the flu, so I'm not sure if he just didn't want to worry me or what. Love the line on the Skipper! They volunteered for ship duty. SO glad they connected:)
He says the food is pretty decent and they are PTing regularly, passing PFT's, so that's good news! Hope you get some mail today:) Boy, did he beg for mail-all the silly, mundane everyday happenings...

LOL...I know, I copied the picture into the letter I'm send him today. I'm like "where are you?" Div. 51 also got a photo of them marching in the cold with ski masks.

Also put something in the letter to scare him a little. I told him I was Facebook friends with Skipper Malfitano, their CO. LOL! Which I am, but of course I haven't really said anything to the Skipper but thanking him for taking care of our SRs. Hee hee...I'm a little evil, I know. But at the end of my letter I reasurred him that the Skipper doesn't know who he is or who I am really.
