Hi all, this is new to me as I don't do Facebook or anything like that so this is a learning experience for me.  But I think this is awesome to be able to share information.  My grandson called me as well on Thursday about 14 minutes, he is really homesick but he's been sick and had wisdom teeth extracted.  He actually told me about this website and said a couple of his buddies were telling him about it and that I should join.

hi Deaware mom! I accepted your friend request and wrote you a message and then deleted it by mistake. So glad you have joined us. Did your grandson say anything about the lack of teamwork in the division? The rest of us heard a lot about that. My son was also sick when we talked and pretty homesick, too. Hard to hear. I think I have had a rougher couple of days since the phone call.

Keep coming on here and you'll love it. I've made some brand new lifelong friends and it is such a help.

Hi Michelle, yes my grandson "Delaware" as the guys are calling him, did say there was a lack of teamwork and that is one thing his grandfather told him before he left was very important as that helps everyone get through the tough times, and the tests, because it's teamwork that will save your back! It also plays a factor as the divisions compete against one another. Where are you from? We are counting down to PIR and have made our hotel reservations. "Delaware" will be going to California after BC so we aren't sure if he will be Grad N Go or be able to have liberty after PIR, he thinks he will at this point but not comfirmed. His call was a wonderful surprise and he tried to cram alot of information in our conversation. He sounded very business like, emotional at times but said things were going good hard some days, fun others. Thanks for accepting me and I look forward to our sharing of information!! I just realized it is your grandson you are supporting. I left you message below. I have told my son to tell all the recruits to tell their supporters to get on here with us! =) It must be working. We are an awesome group. Please join PIR 9/10/10 too. There is more action there because it is more people. This group is just strictly for our Div 303, but the other group is for everyone with a graduation date of Sept. 10th. Glad to have you. If you have any questions let us know.
I believe they are spreading the word as my grandson told me a couple buddies were telling him about the site. Yes, I've also been on the PIR 9/10/10 to view other comments. Most concerns seem the same, homesick, alot of them dealing with wisdom teeth extractions, and on top of that getting sick. I hope and pray Division 303 gets their act together as a team and show the rest they can do it!! My husband said it's very important for everyone to work as a team. My grandson said his rack buddy is from California and two others he has gotten close with are from Kentucky and Tenn. Any Moms or grandmoms from these areas? I was so excited to receive that phone call last Thursday!! Unfortunately the call came while I was at work so my husband wasn't able to talk with our grandson. The guys call my Delaware so thats how I will refer to him in our chats. He's had a rough start but has managed to pass his swim qualifications after being out for 5 days in sick bay. Says its hard some days but fun others. Wants the letters to keep coming, and hopefully he will be able to call on a Sunday but up to RDC. I sent him pictures, just general snapshots of him and family and his black lab puppy, but now I'm concerned if he will get ribbed by his RDC with him in his HS Grad Cap & Gown. Probably, I didn't think about that. I also sent him some stamps, Sunday Comics, and didn't give it a thought. I guess he'll let me know if I should not send certain pictures. We have made our reservations at the Homewood Suites anyone else staying there for PIR?
Well you answered some of my questions here that I posted on our main thread. But my son is from California! Maybe they are bunkmates. I will message you his last name and you can do the same and we can ask them in today's letters if you are comfortable with that.

Happy Sunday! I love thinking of them relaxing a bit today and getting some down time.
