Does anyone know what airport the kids headed for Pensacola are going to? My Sailor leaves at 3:30 am and his flight leaves.at 2 pm... He's still real sick. I did my best to smother him wig his Mama's love all day. It was harder than I thought it would be to drop him off this evening. He handled it better than I did.
Kathyann, I knew everything would work out for your Sailor. I am so happy for you. I'm so very proud of all the Sailors.

I feel truly honored and blessed to be a witness to the graduation today. I was very humbled. It was absolutely amazing.

Ship 02/940....hard to drop off son off tonight, but it was so AWESOME to see his personal growth and to how he has changed. I think that he just might have missed his mommy, although I doubt that he would admit it to anyone!  He is anxious to have more freedom once hitting Florida and to have a more normal existence!  The first thing he did was take a shower and inhale a Mountain Dew!  It was good to have the whole family together again....it might be a long time before that happens again. All the ducks were in a row at one time!  Thank you all for the great advice and support through this chaning time.

Sounds like y'all are having some great days!

janice-your support IS help. Just knowing that they have someone who is thinking about them is something to hold on too. Don't we all feel that way... so you "done did" do something...you were there and are here.

kathyann- HA, glad he got sleep!

jvptxmom- Pizza...yum...I know I got "bland" pizza when I went to Girordano's and the Silo. Shoulda got the "good" stuff on it!

Have wonderful weekends ladies!

I love reading your after PIR stories!
