jma:  You will really enjoy Residence.  That is where we stayed....loved it!  Since you are driving up, feel free to bring "pets" to visit your new sailor...because Residence is PET FRIENDLY!  :-)

Just made our hotel reservations! We are driving up, and staying at the Residence Inn. We were still able to get a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite! Some how, it makes it better planning the trip!

Regina, looks like you will be in the next PIR group.  Hey, would you be interested in starting up your PIR 8/26 group?  Please do if you would like to, then post that on BootCamp Moms so that they can find you.  Just title it:

PIR 8/26/11

Later, you can add the divisions to your group name, but I feel sure you will be part of that group.  Ok?

Your group is now posted on the RTC page.

PIR 8/19/11  TG (Training Group) 40:  Div 263-268, 940

For those with higher division numbers than that, you will be in the PIR 8/26 group but stay on here until that is formed/you find it!

NavyMom;  Congrats on the box and letter!  Wow, both in one day...you are one lucky mama!

Welcome to the group!

icutu & momma'o:  Welcome also!  So great to see others finding the group.

There are some veterans on here, like me, Lala, Sandy, fireteamleaderswife..so please ask questions when you all have them.  There will be info posted up top in the discussion groups soon.  In the meantime, I posted some info re; BattleStations up there that you should read.  That is their final test....not for a while yet, but interesting to find out how they do it!

Leah, I agree with diannep. Wait a bit longer before making travel arrangements. Set-Backs can happen and they usually occur in the first 4 weeks. I made my travel arrangements exactly 4 weeks before PIR.
