Here in New Mexico and surrounded by desert, it's hard to believe my daughter is a sailor.

I can't begin to say thank you enough for this website and for all the uplifting chit chat from all of you!  I wish you all the best in the future for you and your sailor.

Congradulations on a job well done to all our country's newest Sailors!

May The Lord Bless You And Keep You All!

Congratulations ladies, Even though we are driving, I'm staying glued to the site to watch for updates Making my husband drive. We've finally hit Missouri. There's water on the road and I asked what's that? My girls said they couldn't be sure, but thought it was water. LOL!!! We're in a severe drought at home. Please, please, please keep posting to let us know how everyone is doing. Praying for all of you and your Sailors...

My son just called. It didn't sound like him and he said he didn't pass and was staying 2 more weeks. I started crying and asking what happened. He then said "mom it's me and I am a sailor now" OMG!!!! My kid. He is still sick and is very tired. He isn't asking for anything special to eat or do. He said that he will find out later today or tomorrow when his plane leaves. He said it was a very emotional time changing caps.
