my other daughter (the one that's been in for 4 years and is a mommy) didn't understand when she was younger that you actually had to pay the money back, lol (she's a true blonde, lol)

Ladies...your stories sre making me laugh at the end of a long day...I was going to check the PIR groups but I think I will end here so I am feeling lifted up!

The way you describe the search for buildings is priceless duhhuh and CarolP...and uhh not to be mean but, (whisper) hooyah N4M's!

My Sailor gets SOOOOO frustrated with NOT getting the correct information or ANY for things. It doesn't help AT all when you are trying to study when the internet goes out due to a freak lighting storm, pass room inspections, stand watch, get paperwork signed (and the person is NEVER there), PT...in Florida and we are from the west coast!

Yes...BC is over...can he go back?!

Mamas are always right. That's what my son said about the lady. We sat down and talked about it and he's only going to have it for emergencies, and if he does use it, he will pay it off the first month. He didn't know what APR meant.

CarolP - HA,HA,HA,AHHHHH,HA,HA!

The one I rented in Chicago was named "Little Miss GPS". My son called her,"The Magic Box."

See...I have PROOF that I am not crazy...or are we all?

my daughter said it was someone from the credit union (she said navy fed). she said she sat in the class and kept telling everyone not to do it, that it was a mistake, that she found that out the hard way.

Pmbell, isn't your son going to Pensacola too? My son's stuff is MIA as well.

According to my son, some lady came in from the NAVY CU and signed kids up for a credit card. My husband is a GSM for Hyundai. He is all about credit. My sister works for WellsFaro. My Hubby said she probably got $25 per accruals. Some cases, they get bonuses. I asked my son what's the APR? He had no idea. But, I think I told ya'll that some boy bought an iPad using his at the airport... By the time Brad and I got done with him, he understood how a credit card worked.
I think the lady told them what they wanted to hear, so make sure you talk to your younger sailors. Just to see if they know the consequences of using one.
