So can the NEX card be used at McDonalds on base? Maybe sending them a Visa card would be better. Did they get a debit card when they opened their Navy Federal Credit Union account? I never thought to ask this question in letters or when we talked.

Adamsmom- I don't think you have to be a guest of the Ramada to attend, it's just that you don't get the free drink coupons.

I received a phone call from my son as well. It was such a nice surprise to hear from him. He told me Battle Stations was the 24th, so we sould be getting a phone call the morning of the 25th. I am so happy to hear as a division they are all coming together. I have a question regarding the meet and greet at the Ramada Inn, do you have to stay at the Ramada Inn to go to the meet & greet?
Comment by ChrisNukeEMmom on January 10, 2011 at 12:47pm
me neither

Yes, Chris "yay for our boys!". I wasn't counting on a phone call until Battlestations :)

One more thing my son said was they did REALLY well in drill - 4.8 out of 5 and the chief was smiling from ear to ear.  He was so proud of them he said they earned the phone call.  Yay for our boys!

Hikermom-

So sorry you missed his call. My son said that they were doing very well as a division. He sounded upbeat and said they are ALL working hard.
