Good Morning Ladies...I was so happy to hear that are friendships forming between our recruits. As Dana mentioned, our two sons have become buddies. From what I hear they are probably the "Mutt & Jeff" of the division, as my son almost didn't make weight when he left and so I'm guessing he is probably one of the smallest! My son turned 19 in September and is my youngest bio child. He has an older brother, almost 21 and was raised with him and a step-brother, 18, and step-sister, almost 16, for the past 8 years. I have worked in the medical field off & on for the past 14 years since graduating with an X-ray degree. I have been fortunate to be actively involved at my kids high school and am the class mom for this years graduating seniors (all 43 of them). We live in a very small town in southern Oregon. We have had our share of rough winters, so I'm hoping the cold isn't bothering him too much. My mother and I are going to be attending graduation, too epensive to take the whole family. It's been a month today since my son left and I'm happy to say it's about a month until we are all there!!!!
Chris-if you get any info on the recruit who isn't getting mail, please let me know as I would be happy to write.
Hope everyone has a Blessed Christmas, you are all in my thoughts and prayers as are your boys.
Hi Chris & Dana, I was just wondering the other day if our recruits were friends. Guess we will find out at graduation. I am the mother of 2. My recruit is my only son. My daughter is 26 and attends college in the medical field. My daughter has a 3 year old (my grandaughter) who I adore. We are originally from Ca. Moved to Henderson, Nv 9 years ago. I am an insurance agent and have been for the past 29 years. 20 years in Ca and the past 9 years here. It will be very quiet this Christmas without our son. But, we will make it through and look forward to having him home next year. Have a great day!
