Does anyone know if they will be performing at this Friday's PIR? My daughter is on the rifle squad, so I'm wondering if they will post pictures on the Facebook page. We are getting so close! Has anyone heard when Battlestations will be? Or is it too soon to know....Anyway hang in there 940 moms, we are almost there!

I know.  After that phone call I felt so much better.  Her letters were positive enough but just hearing her ramble on was awesome.  Just like at home.  Dont know when the next call will be but even if none I will be content with the one call and letters.  Hard to believe they are on the home stretch already.  Go over to the boot camp moms site and they are all saying the exact same stuff we were just a few weeks ago.  Waiting for the I am here call.  Waiting for the kid in a box.  Waiting for the first letter.  Wow.  Our kids have come a long way but we have come a long way with them in a way.  Awesome.

Is everyone doing ok? It seems like once we got the phone call there was a sigh of relief.

Letter today! She sounds great. Says half the division hadn't taken the written test yet due to medical/dental- lots getting wisdom teeth out. They took it on Monday so she didn't know the results yet. (this letter was written sunday). So still a chance they will earn a long phone call! Keep your fingers crossed!

We are staying at the residence Inn. My daughters rack-mate is Elizabeth- everyone calls her Beth. Is that your daughter? Let me know!
