Good Friday to all!  It may sound weird but I am really excited about tomorrow.  Tomorrow the countdown falls down into the teens and out of the twenties!  Funny how little things like that can make me happy!!!

Praying for lots of letters for all as well as those coveted phone calls!!!

Kimmie it's really hard to believe!!! I read and reread her letters, and I just can't WAIT to see her beautiful face again!!! And I'm afraid that I'm going to be so excited that I might get her in trouble for PDA even tho I'm her MOM!!!! Crazy, huh? LOL

Well then...praying for 5's!!!! And would you all mind praying for my SR especially? In her letter, she says she sucks at inspections and if they have all of those inspections in this one week, my SR will need those prayers.

Two letters today!! My SR says that Hell Week (week 4 day 1) began on Tuesday, Aug 23. She said they have a mock battlestation on the USS Marlinspike, a personal inspection, a zone inspection and a compartment inspection, a drill inspection, live fire, test 2, and they are taking pictures for their military ID's. She said they will be really busy, stressed, and sleep deprived. She also said "Bring it on!" - so I think that means she feels ready for the challenge. She said that if they score a perfect 5.0 the Chief told them they would be allowed to make an extra phone call on Saturday (but that was extremely unlikely).

I got a letter today as well...she seems good other than worrying about Hell Week. Here's praying that they all make it through this week and next!!! :)

I agree with you 100%. If things don't change, then I might see if I can take my own vechile. I mean, I don't mind if people want to do what they want. But I mean, is it hard to understand that I will want to spend all day friday with my SR, then if I get the chance, to go the airport with him? I figured they'd understand that. Ugh, gotta love some people.
