I am going to go get simple Navy Blue T-Shirts

They will read like this:

SR ****** on Back

Ship02

DIV944 on Front. How many of us can do that. Its not expensive.

Way #1 Local Print Shop

Way #2 Local Wal*Mart - Buy a T- Shirt and Letters from Craft section

Addition - Do not forget to Buy your ribbons from LALA

I agree we should wear something that makes us easy to identify.  I saw on another group they were going to wear certain colors for each division group.

diannep- I can't wait for the "I'm a Sailor" call! Question about that, do they ALL get to make that call, or only some? I heard some parents on facebook not getting the call.

besty- I love your idea! Some of us probably won't be able to go to the M&G, so wearing something similar to be able to recongnize each other would be fantastic!

boys r us- I'm with you too. It seems like the longer I get no mail or no letter, the faster and longer I stay in those moods. Just remember that they will ALWAYS love you no matter what. But like tygerh said, we are sooo close now! Almost 27 days! Can you believe it? Seems like yesterday we sent our SR's off.

BoysRUs - I'm with you.  I get in those moods sometimes too.  Just remember, we are sooo close now.

diannep - I can't wait for the "I'm a Sailor" call especially since it may be the only call I get.  And to get to see him marching with his division at PIR - where are my tissues!!

I can't wait to see how much my son has changed.

Ladies, since some of you may not arrive in time to get to the M&G, you should think about wearing a scarf or something similar to find each other at PIR or even at your hotels.  Our group wore hot pink scarves and there was no mistaken our group.  I found people from our Navy4Moms group at our hotel and at PIR.  It was so awesome getting to meet everyone and putting faces with names.  My son graduates in December and I'm still friends with many of the women from our group. I actually got a phone call from one of them today.  Her sailor is getting married Labor Day weekend and I even know his fiance because I met her at PIR.

Thank you sheshe!

If you can get to your M & G ladies...GO. Once you get to PIR you'll only want to be with your Sailor! As it should be!

You'll be sitting "divisionally" and in order  from lowest to highest...so you can "meet" in your sections too...but there will be a LOT of families that are not on N4M...so it WAS hard for me to spot even some of the ladies that I had met. Also, there will be other families at the M & G that are not on N4M.

BoysRUs:  Ok, I'll tell ya....when you get that I'm a Sailor call!....and then it really is gone when you watch that handsome son of yours marching at PIR!  Happy Days!  Just you wait and see!  Ok, so when you see them off, it does come back a little....but...then you get that text or phone call from them...happy days again!   Do something fun this weekend....just for YOU!

Better days are just around the corner!  HOOYAH!
