Just got a phone call, I am on top of the world, he is happy.  Likes his division, did not do well on the PT test today though.  So he will have to work on the run.  He says the food is really good.  He missed mail call the other day.

Something to check on--look at the discussion group for your sailor's division.  Are other moms getting mail?  If not, it may be that someone in that division has not learned to work as a team.  They have maybe not been awarded time to write or call.  If others in the division are getting mail, it may be that your kid is just not writing.  I do know of an instructor or two that will walk by recruits and whisper, "Write your mother!"  I can't imagine any of your kids choosing not to write, however it has happened.  I have an EVIL solution, but it's only if your kid is really being a brat.

The original form letter (giving you SR's address, etc) is all you will get in the mail from RTC.  It should contain some info about grad (hotels and such) I understand...my son neglected to put this in MY form letter when he mailed it....sigh....There will be no graduation info mailing, no tickets (they go by the names on the list that your SR can update a couple of weeks before PIR)...so all the info you need should be in the form letter...or on this site!  Just ask if you need more!

Can anyone tell me if we receive the graduation information in the mail, and if so when does it normally come?

Thanks

firewife5, if you look directly above the Comment Wall on here, you will see Discussion groups.  If you go into the discussion group for your division, you may find some more ladies from your group.  If you don't see a discussion for your ship/division, then you can start one.  Hopefully then the ladies from that division will find you.
