FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

tmasters hope you are feeling better and hopefully you got your call. I never did get a letter this week. My son talked about your son and did not say anything was wrong, just talked about everyone getting together for dinner. Here's a big hug. 10 more days.

momacharlie I did get your request for 15 bracelets..
I KNOW SOME WANTED THE BRACELETS BEFORE PIR BECAUSE THEY WON'T BE AT MEET AND GREET HOWEVER I WILL NOT BE GETTING THEM TILL SOME TIME ON THE 25TH. AFRAID TO MAIL ON SATURDAY BECAUSE I CAN'T BE SURE ANYONE WILL GET THEM. I WILL BE STAYING AT THE RAMADA AND THOSE AT THE NAVY LODGE DOCSANGEL WAS SWEET ENOUGH TO SAY SHE WILL BRING BACK TO THE LODGE FOR .......

I got a call too! My son is sick again! stomach flu going around. He sounds good he doesn't give me as much "Navy" info as you guys, but he trys to talk to everybody. He has 6 brother and sister, and 8 neices and nephews LOL!!! so I have to share! Today is his 19th Birthday! Im glad we got to say H-B Day!

I received a call today as well! Its so nice to hear his voice although the last two Saturdays he has called at the worst times, I'm just glad that I was able to talk! He is finally feeling better and we talked about what he want's to do when we come out to Chicago for graduation. I'm so glad its getting so close to our departure!
