Oh..I forgot to mention. My son said that a bunch of the guys want to have a big dinner with all of them and their families while on liberty. He said they are all coming together as friends :)

fabnoble would love it if you join us :) I did read the rules too...they're tough! Got my letter today. :) He sounds really, really good. He told me he thinks the Navy is for him. He makes me very proud. He said he applied to change his job and is waiting to hear. I can see a change in him just from his letters. He too mostly talked about liberty and our visit. He misses his girlfried he broke up with a few months before he left. He asks for advice. He said if they test good and have a class average of 4.25 or higher they may get another call home this weekend. He told me right now he is struggling with shining his boots..he just can't get it right and asked my husband to write him and explain how. Too cute!!

I hope everyone has read the PIR Rules Robsproudmom has posted here...it certainly was a surprise to me reading about the PDA rules!! I would have assumed it was normal/okay to give my Sailor a long hug and kiss after not seeing him all this time. Knowing they can lose Liberty time just for that makes me sad, hope it doesn't happen to anyone.

Just got 2 letters. Didn't have alot to say, just that he's excited about liberty weekend and doesn't really want to do much of anything. Just relax and take a nice long shower. He's also looking forward to a good meal where he can take his time and enjoy it. He was bummed about the phone call Saturday, they thought they were getting an hour and the same guys goofed off again, so their phone call got cut short. He said one guy refused to hang up and had to pay dearly that night with pt punishment. Hope it wasn't a sailor from our group. My son said the poor guy was crying after 15 minutes. He said the guys tease him because he writes every night, to his girlfriend, me or his dad. Fine with me though, I love getting his letters.=)

Looking forward to hearing about everyone else's letters today and tomorrow. :)

I don't think I will be there in time for the meet and greet. If there is any way I can send you a check and have you send me my bracelets as soon as you get them that would be great. I can send the check now if you can get me your address!!
Thanks!!

I am at Navy Lodge with Docsangel. I think we may have a glass of wine or tea after meet n greet since I will miss it. I can give her $10 for my 10. Thank you ladies so very much. Hoping my letter comes today. Just finished on asking about Indiana or NY, etc. :) to see if we have more connections :)

As of right now there are 50 bracelets left all below have been included in the count.
Docsangel: you are great and that is fine with me if you want to take the bracelets from the meet and greet to the Navy lodge I did write my son about the bracelets but there are only 50 left. what if too many people want them i don't know if I can get more in time before I have to make the road trip from NY to GL
